i was a twenty-something runway model

Last Friday a preview of my latest fashion film with designer Morgan Gehris and some photos from the accompanying editorial series were featured as part of the March Sugar Art and Fashion show at Lot 613 in downtown LA. It was a great turnout, and people seemed to love the work. Can't wait to have a real screening of the film on the big screen!

When I arrived at the gallery that afternoon in a Stones t-shirt and jeans to hang, I was promptly told that a model had dropped from the catwalk show and asked if I'd be willing to fill in. Sure, why not? I'm all about trying new things. The result was 4 hours of intensive hair and makeup that I'm still recovering from, but it was a fun experience. I walked for both Morgan's Standard Deviation and the accessory line Rude & Reckless.

If you want a chuckle you can watch me strut my stuff courtesy of YouTube:

On a side note: I still have some gorgeous 8x12 giclee prints available from the show. If you have any interest in purchasing one, drop me a line!
